Little pencil case - #21madeforyou

Heute will ich endlich beginnen, meine Idee umzusetzen und jeden Monat am 21. etwas Selbstgemachtes für oder von Aila zeigen. Beginnen möchte ich mit einem kleinen Stifte Täschen, dass Aila für ihre Oma genäht hat. Das ist schon fast ein kleines Tutorial. :o)

Finally I want to turn my idea into reality and show something selfmade for or from
Aila on every 21st. I'll start today with a little pencil case that Aila made for her granny. It is nearly a tutorial. :o)

Als erstes brauchen wir natürlich eine Vorlage. Die sieht doch schon vielversprechend aus!

First of all we need a pattern. Doesn't it look promising?

Die Vorlage aus zwei verschiedenen Stoffen je einmal zuschneiden. Mia U. guckt, dass alles richtig gemacht wird.

Just cut two different fabrics in this shape. Mia U. (our cat) is checking if everything is ok.

Der zweite Stoff ist einfach nicht glatt zu kriegen...

It is impossible to straighten the second fabric...

... könnte vielleicht daran liegen, dass Mia U. den Stoff auch noch von unten überprüfen muss.

... maybe it's because Mia U. is also checking the bottom side of the fabric.

Alles schön glatt bügeln!

Iron the fabric...

Beide Teile rechts auf rechts aufeinander stecken und nähen. Ich habe zur Orientierung eine Linie gemalt, wo genäht werden soll. Ein kleines Loch haben wir offen gelassen.

Pin the right sides together and sew along a marked line. Leave one little hole open.

Durch das Loch wenden...

Turn over (through the hole)...

...und wieder bügeln. Dabei gut aufpassen, dass die zweite Hand nicht mitgebügelt wird.

... and iron again. Be careful that you don't iron your second hand. :-)

Zuklappen und die Seiten zunähen!

Close as you see on the picture and close the sides.

Noch einmal wenden und dann 2 Kam Snaps anbringen. Dafür braucht man etwas mehr Kraft.

Turn inside out and add two Kam Snaps (press buttons). Therefor some more power is needed...

Jetzt nur noch füllen und verschenken!
